Did my research, seems by far to be the best high lift jack for the $$. If you've been working on your vehicle w/your stock jack's like myself, it's a lifesaver. Makes life so much easier!! Throws up my 1500 sierra & z71 tahoe no problem. Doesn't lift alot per jack, but still not bad, not anything difficult by any means. A few people mentioned that it doesn't look good, looks good to me; nice red paint, though I didn't break out the magnifying glass. Others mentioned no handle to carry around with which might be nice but it rolls around & steers very easily on the garage floor. I'm very pleased.

These were given to me as a gift with a note pointing out several stories about Chinese stands shattering and dropping vehicles. Once you read those accounts, you'll think twice before climbing under a car supported by big-box-brand jack stands. These aluminum stands are well-made and rated at 3 tons - they support my Yukon without straining and are just the level of overkill I want holding my sports car for the many hours I spend under it.

I purchased these because of their weight and compact size. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality. These are well machined, solidly built units which performed nicely. I bought two of these from Tractor supply for $29.99 each and another $9 total for shipping. Used them to change my oil and rotate the tires, they work great, easy to lift my F150 4x4 extended cab and felt safe under the truck with the self locking jack stands. Easy to release to get them out too, comes with two handles on each jack for letting them down and jacking them up. Very satisfied, would highly recommend over a regular bottle jack, plus it's 3 tons!

Tractor Supply sells this Jack for $30 Bucks. I bought it today. Works great, but make sure you can store it in your truck. Its bulky. Shame on you Amazon for making people pay over 60 bucks for this jack.

It works exactly as depicted. If you are not sure if it is worth it, let me explain that it is a 2 for 1 tool. Even if you buy the absolute cheapest similar tool at Walmart (a bottle jack and separate jack stand) you will spend more and take up significantly more space. These are great. I have 2 that I use extensively with my Toyota 4Runner. I love them! My best friend is a certified mechanic and wants a couple for his birthday coming up soon. They work; indeed work well, and are very compact.

It deserves five stars as for $37 shipped with a case this is a steal It's not really low enough to be used on my Miata MX-5 and had be used on the sub-frame of our Honda CR-V as it would not jack the regular jacking point high enough but that's where I put Jack Stands anyway. With the Miata I'll probably drive one wheel onto a 4x8 piece of wood first, then this jack should fit under ok If you have a regular car or small SUV you should be fine. The jack works great.

After reading about a recent death by a car enthusiast working on his car using non-locking jack stands, I immediately decided to replace my non-locking jackstands with these locking jack stands. Non-locking jackstands can collapse if the adjustment arm is accidentally bumped and pose a hazard if you're under the vehicle. These jack stands are high quality and lock so they can't collapse accidentally when you're under the vehicle. If your jack stands don't lock you really should consider replacing them.

For any of you that were wondering it is sold as a pair of jack stands not just one because i was very confused before i purchased these and just waited to see if it was one or two! Besides that they are very sturdy jack stands and i love the double locking feature for added security and no need to bend a piece of steel like i have read with some other comparable Jack stands! I have a 4200 pound dodge charger and these held up the rear of the car just fine! I would reccommend if you have a suv or a car that is higher off the ground than most sedans to buy other jack stands because i believe on the box the maximum lift height is 16 and a quarter inches! However even on the lowest setting it was still able to hold the rear of my charger a little off the ground!

Best thing about these jacks is the security pin, to prevent the jack from collapsing. Say if you or someone accidentally hit up on the handle when your under the car. At least now I can feel safe under the car knowing these have a extra feature that most jack stand don't offer.

The unique locking pin makes these worthwhile. However, when you read the instructions, it's not clear how to bend the "tab" to hold the supports in the frame. Best way is to take a big screwdriver and bend them inward. Can't believe they don't put that on the instructions, since it's not intuitive.

Very nice set of stands, work great for my truck. double locking and sturdy for a decent price. The welds look good, I trust my life with them while working on my vehicle. I really don't understand why someone would rate these low. for those who can't figure it out, these are for big vehicles. there is no reason to have 6 ton stands for a car.

These things are just what I needed. I just have a Subaru Forester and Chrysler Town and Country, but I went w/ the 6 ton as opposed to the smaller units. An extra $10 bucks is worth my safety and peace of mind. Simple enough to use. Strong enough for any job. These are heavy and will get the job done. Don't know what else you can say about jack stands.

I own a 2007 Night Rod Special, this bike has a lower ground clearance than all other H-D bikes, most lifts have a minimum clearance of 5" making it possible to lift even standard height bikes from one side only while having to to balance the bike at the same time. This lift is low enough to easily get under either side of my bike and raise the bike without trying to balance it as it comes off the ground. Lift also has four automatic locking positions so that it is not soley relying on hydraulic jack to keep the bike up while servicing or cleaning. Absolutely love this lift!!! No other lift was low enough to get under my lowered Softail or my wife's Nightster except this one, I don't have to hold the bike up with one hand while pushing the lift under with the other, I can slide the lift under the bike while it's still leaned over on the kickstand. AND IT DOES NOT LEAK AT ALL!!! The Softail has been up for a year now under going a major restoration and has not moved one bit compared to cheaper lifts that leak down over night. So now I'm going to order a second one to tear the Nightster down this winter.

After purchasing and returning 2 other motorcycle jacks, this is the one that is built the best and works the best. $60.00 more than the others but well worth it. And the free shipping made it even better. If you're going to do you're own motorcycle maintenance or mods this one will do the trick. And it comes with tie down straps, even if they are about 4' too long. This item gets a thumbs up from me.
